School Education Department Sets Deadline for Exams for Classes 1st to 7th, 9th Session 2023
The School Education Department in Jammu and Kashmir has issued a directive to complete exams for classes 1st to 7th and 9th by March 20, 2023, to begin new classwork.
This communication was addressed to the Chief Education Officers and Principals of all District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) by the Director of School Education Kashmir.
The exams are school-based and will be conducted following the guidelines formulated by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Term End exams for Classes 1st to 7th and 9th in the Srinagar district will be held from the second week of March according to the old pattern. The date sheet and assessment for these classes will be done by the respective authorities of the school.
The Principal of the DIET in Srinagar has announced that this year’s exams will be held according to the old pattern and will follow the new National Education Policy from the next session.
