The farmers of India often face various economic challenges, which makes them vulnerable to financial crises. To address this issue, the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, launched the PM Kisan Yojana in 2018. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive an amount of ₹6,000 in the form of three installments each year.

PM Kisan 13th Installment Release Date
So far, the government has disbursed ₹24,000 to farmers’ accounts under the 12 installments. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers receive the installment amount after every four months.
The 13th installment will provide an amount of ₹2,000 to each eligible farmer, which can be used for the maintenance of crops. The government has taken this initiative to provide economic assistance to Indian farmers and alleviate their financial burden.

How To Apply for the PM Kisan scheme can follow the steps below:
Check eligibility:
Firstly, farmers should check whether they are eligible for the scheme. The PM Kisan scheme is available to small and marginal farmers who own less than two hectares of land.
