The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has recently announced the exam pattern for the upcoming class 12 examinations. According to the latest update, the J&K Board class 12 exams will follow the CBSE class 12 exam format. This means that all question papers will follow the CBSE format and will be applicable to all subjects. Additionally, the updated JKBOSE Class 12 syllabus will be used as before for the upcoming exams in Kashmir and the U.T. of Ladakh (winter zone).
The class 12 higher secondary exam will comprise of five subjects, including one language examination in English and one elective. When enrolling for the first time in class 12, candidates must choose an optional subject. Commerce students can choose mathematics as one of their electives.
