Jammu and Kashmir Recruitment Board Announces Over 2,300 New Government Job Appointments
The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection and Recruitment Board (SSRB) has finalized a list of more than 2,300 successful candidates for government posts, according to an official announcement on Friday. The new recruits will help to reduce the staff shortage in various departments, including the health department.
- The board will hold examinations for multiple posts in Jammu and Kashmir.
- The exams will be for 1,390 Junior Engineer posts in various departments, 1,972 Finance Accounts Assistant posts, and 1,395 Panchayat Secretary posts.
- The exams will take place in the months of March and April this year.
- The board is currently working on creating a calendar of activities to streamline the recruitment process

Looking forward, Sharma said that the board plans to hold examinations for 1,390 Junior Engineer posts, 1,972 finance accounts assistants positions, and 1,395 panchayat secretary posts between March and April this year. He added that the board is working on a recruitment calendar to streamline the recruitment process and ensure timely exams for aspiring government job applicants
