The total number of vacancies is 40889, with the maximum vacancies in Uttar Pradesh Circle (7987).
Candidates will be selected based on the merit list prepared on the basis of online submitted applications. Higher educational qualifications will not be given any preference, and the final selection will be based on marks obtained in the 10th class.
The pay scale for Branch Postmaster (BPM) is Rs.12,000 to Rs.29,380, while for GDS/ABPM, it is Rs.10,000 to Rs.24,470.
