Haj 2023 Becomes More Affordable : Pilgrims to Pay Less Than Rs 4 Lakh. Detail below
The Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee has just announced that Haj 2023 will be more affordable, with a reduction of almost 80,000 rupees. Each pilgrim will only have to pay between 3.5 to 3.7 lakh rupees, instead of 4.5 lakh rupees.
Over 10,000 pilgrims from J&K are expected to undertake the holy journey this year. The Haj office in Srinagar will provide assistance to every pilgrim, including those facing passport issues. The Haj application form is now available for free on the official website of the Haj Committee of India.
In case a RTPCR test is required, the government will bear the expenses and collect samples from the pilgrims for free. Pilgrims over the age of 70 will be given priority, and women above 45 years old without a Mehram can perform Haj in groups.
